    Super 90 Please Help!

The PTO was somewhat of a weak link in these models in that if the discs or plates warped when hot they would not shut off even with a brake. It may be too little clearance in the clutch pack causing it to hang up. Another possibility is too little pump pressure causing the clutch pack to slip...

Left side brakes on MF1135 anf 1105

These are a fairly simple system that always seemed to give good service. Did you have help when the brakes were bled? Did the pedal stay firm after bleeding? And if so, how long? Did any air come out upon bleeding? The easiest thing is a master cylinder rebuild or replace and bleed again if...

    1105 1968-69

Really no place to bleed as the fluid dumps back into the transmission from control valves and pumps. It should bleed as power steering and remote outlets are cycled. Is the oil foamy? Oil churning as you look into the filler is normal. If it is the three point lift arms you are referring to...

    Silo filling pics taken yesterday

We would put a case DC on the blower and an SC on the wagon and fill a 60 foot silo with hay for beef cattle. The DC had no trouble with that but it may have with corn. Never used it for corn. Both units still around but no cattle for 20 years, Good to see some old cases still doin it.

MF 1155 No hydraulics at startup

There is a charge pump under your feet inside the transmission that feeds the front filter. The pump may be a little weak but more probable is the charge pump filter screen is full. The screen is located on the bottom of the transmission with a rectangular housing. Drain the 15 or so gallons...

    Land rent

I am looking for a land rent forum as the ones I found I was too hyped up about. I know this is tractors and I posted on another board but not too much action. I have a farm that is coming out of CRP filter strips and lease is up too. It has a 108 corn, 56 bean and 25 wheat base on about 250...

looking for a land rent forum

Thanks for a little input. Still not finding a forum I like. Went to county fair yesterday talking too and it appears rents are going up. Maybe I'll try posting on other sites as well.

looking for a land rent forum

I looked at some of the rent forums I could google, but none of them looked like a site I wanted to post on. Do any of you know of one I can try? Have a 250 acre farm in northern Illinois that I am trying to get some ideas on. Cash rent or variable rent with a 108 corn, 56 soybean and 25...

    265 Chrysler

Not sure I can help but a found a tune up book from 1977. Has firing order of 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4 but I am sure that is for the slant sixes used in sixties and seventies. A place to start and it shows intakes at .010 and exhaust at .020 measured hot. i have an older book but I can't find it, just...

    loader has no presure

If three point lift arms work, the pump may be ok. Do they lift anything loaded? Lift the arms all the way to the top and then try aux valves. May be a question of where the aux hydraulics are plumbed into.

How can you gear a 44 down

I don't think there were any gear ratio options but I could be wrong. Custom gears are an option from gear cutters and I am sure that a pricey one time set up fee would be involved.

    Massey 760 Transmission

I have no experience on a massey trans and can only offer an opinion. Can you fill in the detent with a weld bead and take a die grinder and make a new detent position? This may allow a full shift into reverse and you may also need to address the shift quadrant in the cab as well for...

MF 1130 leaking oil from clutch housing. MF1155 water in oil

Some seals just wear out. It may leave a microscopic groove in the crank flange. It it has a groove, just dont put the deal in as far as the last one, maybe a sixteenth of an inch or so out. Not too sure about the 1155. Had very few engine problems with losing water, crank problems yes.

    Oilver self propelled chooper

Never seen one, but a recent article in Heritage Iron says they were built by Oliver. The text says what you say about interchangeability with Fox and dimensions and specs were spot on as well with fox. A great article, worth getting a subscription for the writings on machinery.
