    I have everything in order; except for the vent wire in the rotor, and valve delivery in rotor shaft, those two items were not in the unit at disassembly. Brian

    Heeded them, I believe I did; tried to be aware of any marks and took pictures. While it was coming apart, I noticed parts missing: vent wire in the rotor, and valve delivery in rotor shaft. Do some of these pumps come without these parts? I am going to reassemble everything and see if it works...

    JD1010c diesel injection pump

    I was forced to do a rebuild on my fi pump; while doing the disassemble I discovered that I am missing some internal parts: 1. the wire vent number 25 and 26 2. and plug hole 28 and 29 Does this fi pump work without these parts? Brian

    hi dieseltech, my shaft has a flat screwdriver looking shape that fits into a channel shaped receiver that can only drop in 180 or 360 to keep time. i have not rotated the shaft so it should remain in the original time i hope... brian

    DB fuel injection pump replacement; Is there only two directions 180 vs 360 when dropping the pump in place on a jd1010c; or will I need to mess with timing. I have not changed any settings; only took it apart and cleaned, and replaced new O rings etc. Thanks, Brian
