No luck today with the 1755

I don't know that the reg. has a lot do with starting, this has to do with charging the batt. Do you have a safety switch on the clutch pedal that needs to be pressed in for starting?

    Bosch P7100 pump governor

Can anyone tell me what the governor # is on the P7100 pump with an AG governor? Should be RSV type. I need the number off the back of the pump, governor end. My pump is on a 5.9 engine and it needs an AG governor. Thanks. Bruce

Massey ferguson 1100 Fuel system Problem

The Perkins hate air, they are real fussy. The pump has 2 small bleeder screws, after pumping them clear you will most likely have to crack an injector or 2 to get it going. Also seems to help to open the throttle quite far for cranking. Can't tow a M.P. trans. to start. Good luck Bruce

pics of finnished repower on 2-150

I took the 2-150 out for the first time today and noticed the steering is wondering quite a bit. I have the front end off a 2-155 and put new seals into the steering unit, tie rods are all good, wheel alignment is good. With the old 2-150 setup it handled real nice. Is this a problem that is...

    OC3 IXB motor info

I'm with Chuck, I hope you used some kind of "sticky" lube on the shells when you put them in, "Bearing Guard" is what I have used. You will be amazed how much easier the engine turns once the oil pressure is built up. Good luck Bruce

    tractor

Hi Jeff, I wish mine did turn 540 at 2000 RPM. The Super 90 I have and the 35 I had both have STD. PTO speed at just under 1600 engine RPM. The tractor would be much more useful if it ran at the proper engine speed for the std. PTO. I have never got a good answer as to why the boys at MF thought...

    5.9 Cummins problem

Thanks guys, If I pinched the return line with a pliers it ran fine. I took the banjo bolt valve out and for some odd reason the spring was cocked to the side and the ball was loose. Put it back in the way it should be and it was nice and tight. I don't know why something like that would happen...

looking for water inlet elbow for 5.9 Cummins

I need to find an elbow that points forward for the 5.9 C, bottom right hand, uses 3 bolts to attach. Part # is 3934876. I would like to find a used one, Cummins wants an arm, leg, and about 3 quarts of blood for this thing up here in Canada. Mine points down at close to 80 degrees and my rad...

    5.9 Cummins problem

I have a problem with the 5.9 that I put into my White tractor. It came out of a bus, has the P7100 pump. The first time I ran it I could run it at idle but as soon as I tried to rev it past about 1200 RPM it would run the pits and smoke like on a -40 day. I left it for a few days and the next...

    5.9 Cummins problem

I am putting a 5.9 into my White tractor. Got an engine from a bus with the P 7100 pump. I left it sit for a few days and the next time I tried it it worked...

    MF 1135

They were a good machine in the day, If it has been used for a lot of heavy work you will need to tend to the final drives. They can be switched left to right if done in time. I know this because I had one with this problem. The latter ones had a slightly heavier gear set (silver wheels). I...
