    15/40 not is and never will be as good as 30w when hot, Case called for 30 all the way to the 94's and that isn't that many years ago, also some people like 1030's suffer from cracked heads so beware of the advice you get on here!

    One person on here told me years ago that down south they don't change oil they just change drivers! I have seen some very rough southern tractors in northern salvage yards. Of course this doesn't speak for everyone in the southern states and I have seen some beat up northern ones also.

    Fleetline sealed beams

    On a Case 400 I replaced the the bulb and reflector unit (which didn't have a replaceable bulb) with a sealed beam. I put a bead of silicone around the shell and set the beam onto it. After it cured I tightened the ring. I don't remember the sealed beam number that I used right off hand.

    Case and Oliver should have joined in the 60's. Oliver could have brought some improvements to the Case tractors and the Case machinery line.
