    4610 4WD Loader

I don't see all the fuss honnestly for the loader being in the way. I have a 4400 backhoe with the same loader, yes it can be frustrating to work around sometimes but it's never stopped us. The loader is simple to remove too if need be. At this point, buying another loader isn't an option for...

    4610 4WD Loader

I agree, but at this point I have the loader for free, and haven't found a better solution.

    4610 4WD Loader

Where would I tap into the system for power and return? The tractor has 2 sets of remotes, i don't want to use them. I've never been impressed with the speed of the remotes on this tractor. Seems slow to me, you think the loader would do okay though? Thanks!

    4610 4WD Loader

Hi all, I've got a 4610 that I would like to put a loader on. First question, I'm concerned if the 4wd axle is safe to handle the weight/use of the loader? I know parts are hard to find for them, and I'm very leery of breaking it! All I would be using it for is 4x5 round bales, running about...

    Parts Interchange, 4000 - 4610

I see that after second look, my 4610 doesnt have that external pump, never even noticed! Thanks!

    Parts Interchange, 4000 - 4610

Oh okay!! That makes sense thank you! Do I swap torque tube too, the piece between motor and trans housing?

    Parts Interchange, 4000 - 4610

Would I have to change rear end if I left my 4000 2wd and just used the 4610 trans? The hydro pump on side of bellhousing is the one you are referring to? Thank you!

    Parts Interchange, 4000 - 4610

Hi all! I have a 4610 4wd I've been farming with, and a 4000 I've been putting together slowly. The 4000 is a SOS, and currently everything works fine, but we all know what's coming lol. I stumbled into what appears to be a 4600 or 4610 parts tractor. It has the manual shift...

    Thoughts On A 4610

Yes I need to check out the front axle, I've got an owner operator manual, I'll check them over. What should I run for oil, 80-90 gear oil? The dealer I bought it from told me it's a 1986, but I haven't confirmed that!

    Thoughts On A 4610

What's the general consensus of a 4610? I brought this one home last week, so far I'm in love. Shuttle shift and 4wd, 2 remotes, starts runs and works perfect. Excited to hay with it!

    Thoughts On A 175?

Thanks! Good on my end, life is just busier by the day. Not married but close, we have a little girl now as well. Working on finishing up building a house for us!

    Thoughts On A 175?

Asking 5500, has a light duty loader on it, not massey brand. It is a Perkins.

    Thoughts On A 175?

Everything I have seems to have steering issues so it'll fit right in! Lol They are asking 5500, it is a Perkins diesel, comes with a beat up brush hog and a somewhat light duty loader.

    Thoughts On A 175?

Looking at buying a 175 from a family friends estate. They tell me it is showing 9200 hours. They don't know much about it but say starts and runs great, everything works. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them? Or specific things to look at when I check it out? Using it...

    Case 830 Loud PTO

It does work, but my concern is at what force is it slipping. Once in awhile, if I'm running at a lower rpm, it will jam the plunger, not shear the bolt, and just spin the clutch. That's the result of a bad habit of mine for running at lower rpm in real light hay, to prevent banana bales...
