    8050 FWA wheel seal

    If you suspect loctite, just heat the head of the bolt. Let the heat soak in. Loctite will release at about 350 degrees.

    574 balancer

    I'm putting together a 574 with a D239. It came with a replacement balancer the previous owner had bought for this engine. The original balancer has a forging number of 3132 875 R3, the replacement balancer is 3132 875 R4. Is this okay to use? Thanks.

    I've got a 2955 with a constant leak from the vent tube coming from the reservoir tank. If the leak is from the pump and not the check ball on the tank, is this indicative of a bad pump?

    Arc Welding and Chassis Electronics

    If your ground is on the same piece as the piece you are making your arc, you will not have any problems. If your ground needs to find a path to your arc such as via a fastener, that is when you are asking for trouble.

    Yes check the fuel flow to carb, should be a full stream. If not, make your way up stream to the tank and don't forget to make sure the fill cap is venting properly. If you have a full stream, the fuel isn't getting past the needle. I recently fixed a carb that the fuel level was too low and...

    It is possible for sure! "I only slipped it a little..." well was that at idle or at mid to high rpm? At mid or high rpm that creates a lot of heat fast. Considering that he chopped his corn with it... How hard did he push it ? But you will be able to tell when you remove the pto assembly to see...
