My mistake, the post painted grd is actually gen. This may change everything. Hopefully I can use this. I see no terminal underside but here is a picture- bubschevy

Hi Wore Out, the regulator that was on the tractor has 4 terminals. grd in the back, L, B & F on front.- bubschevy

Thanks everyone for the quick response. The V/R that was on the tractor was mounted directly on the inner fender. I thought that it should have been mounted on the rubber. Sounds like I need to buy the original and then all my wires will be correct.- bubschevy
