    Hard starting Ford 3000 Gas

    My father's tractor did the same thing. It was his vacuum advance. Hard starting when cold and lack of power. Now it runs better than it ever did. hope this helps.

    When your tractor shuts down check your sediment bowl. If its empty then you know you have an obstruction. Also how old is your gas? I've had tractors shut down because of bad gas.

    '65 4000 on ebay

    "My dad bought this tractor brand new and has had only 1 owner'. Looks like his Dad beat the snot out of it. Why is there only one cylinder for the bucket? I've never seen that; if its one cylinder they usually mount in the middle.
