Wood splitter puts air in the oil

I'm working on a wood splitter for a friend of mine and can't get it to stop putting air in the oil. I put a new suction hose on it between the tank and the pump with new clamps. I tried a couple of different reservoirs thinking that there might be something inside the tank causing turbulence in...

Installing new brake shoes on 480b case queston

They go under the freeze plug in the housing.

    Case grain drill parts

I have a new 725L clutch gear, but none of the other parts. My parts are old, probably from the L or D series drills so those older drills might be the same as yours.

    Case 350 with backhoe

Are those lines on or do they come from the loader valve? Did it work before since you've had it? Does it have quick couplers?

What are you attaching your hydraulics to?

    480C Construction King

First of all we need to figure out what we are talking about,Lift for box blade. On a 480C you would most likely have a MOD hitch which has it's own 4 spool valve. Those valves have a unique flow pattern. A service manual on the hitch attachment might help. You could try lifting while you are...

    Case A6 Combine Search

After looking in the A-6 parts book I see that the PTO drive set up looks quite a bit different than my 75. The gearbox looks completely different as does the jackshaft. Not saying it couldn't be made to work.

    Interesting picture

That is an interesting picture. Rare plow. Rare crawler with the 3pt. hitch. When i was a kid our local dealer demonstrated an early 310 pulling a 3 bottom model A plow at their Case-o-rama. That was in 1958 as I recall.

    Case SC Eagle hitch

Conner's top picture looks like it might be a 400' It would help to see just what your Eagle Hitch set up looks like. I remember in about 1961 Case offered a kit to retrofit an Eagle Hitch on an older (49-51) SC or DC. I think they had a close-out deal at that time and Dad bought a kit to put...

How to remove brake cover Case 580 CK Loader /hoe

Your tractor looks like it's already been notched out on that loader frame. It should come right off. Don't try to take that one bolt out that lines up with that notch, you can remove the housing by taking off the four bolts at the corners of the brake housing. That one bigger bolt can be...

    What's this

Back in the 50's and 60's Case would offer a different item every year for their dealers to give away at open houses, county fairs, or at times when a customer got a demonstration of a new machine. Those manure spreader cleaning tools with the twine cutter and the wooden handle were another item...

    Eurocardan PTO Shield

I'm looking for a new shield for the PTO drive line on my rotary cutter. The shaft that I have has no groove in it for the nylon bearing to ride on. All it had was a self-contained bearing assembly that clips on to the yoke. I can't seem to find a new one that attaches like that.

    Kubota B3030

Kubota B3030 started out this season with a week battery. Installed a new battery, but now something's not connecting in the electrical circuit. When the key is turned on the battery light doesn't come on and the starter doesn't activate with the key. If you turn the lights on, they work and it...
