    I've rebuilt a few of these in my time....Only insert metal screwdriver 3/4 inch or so, you will feel a tab and ground tab to case of alternator, if you miss the tab and go too far you will get into the rotor.

    Drill chucks

    I wanted to correct my earlier post, we talked about an Albrecht chuck, but for the cost vs quality decided on a Llambrich chuck which is made in Spain. Lesser cost and the quality is great. Probably no need for an Albrecht chuch on a portable drill. Sorry for any confusion.

    Be careful with Jacobs, according to a machinist friend they aren't what they used to be and are now made in China. I recently needed a chuck for a half inch portable "arm breaker" drill and he suggested an Albrecht brand chuck from Spain. I got one and am very happy with it.
