    Makes me wish I had your paint. The shot I need is blocked by the seat stand. If you sit on the seat and take a pic of the crankcase cover it would show the rod Im looking for, the one from the hand lever to the govenor arm. Where did you find your decals? Did you paint it or professional paint?

    My uncle has a farmall 460 in progress. He is looking for the gauges, steering wheel and a few other things but did not like the prices I told him from this site. Is there another outlet(s) for original IH parts. It is a 59 gas if that helps. Thanks.

    Sounds like head gasket or cracked head. Rate of cylinder fill I would lean on cracked head. Must have good rings on your piston though if you had good oil.

    Might have some in crankcase now. I dont think I wouldnt start it unless you check and maybe change the oil. Keep an eye on the temp you could have combustion gas going into the radiator. Could have hydro lock if you shut it down for too long, when you dont want it too, like out in a field.

    Got my cast wheels on my A moved and set. Plowed then took the hub off painted my wheels and set them again. Took the tractor to another plow spot about three miles or so away and on the way over the right wheel walked out on the axle a few inches. What is the best way to set them things...

    Late 'A' brake drum/adjuster nut removal.....

    You might try Evaporust. Its a non toxic chemical, I used it on my carb that was plugged with rust. Soaked for about 24hrs, the stuff turned the rust to black goo that I cleaned out with a pipe cleaner. Got it at Thiesens farm store.

    Rav, I have pics from my 44 A hand start w/o lights or starter with the rod I think you are looking for. It has a bend a few inches forward of the hand lever which I dont need. Dont know how to get the pics onto this forum though.

    B crankcase pressure

    Had fuel in my crankcase but no smoke or blow-by. Was my cutoff on the sediment bowl leaking and pushing fuel into the crankcase. Shut off the fuel and drain the carb, check carb in the morning to see if full, if so you know where its from.
