John Deere wheel weights
According to my un-styled parts list these D2628R weights were used on late un-styled with cast wheels. That maybe is why you have them on a 38. The ones I have, have the number cast into them. I was at a show last week and I saw a styled D with weights that were larger in DIA and flatter. I...- Cal, MI

6 or 12 volt on 48 D
The two 6 volt batteries were hooked up in series making 12 volts. I have a 48 the same way.- Cal, MI

D pistons
Got my 48 D apart and discovered that the bores are pitted and will have to be bored out. Any suggestions as to type of pistons. I see Sharp has high compression Aluminum pistons. Can anyone give me a recommendation. Alum. or iron? Where is a good source?- Cal, MI
