D pistons

Got my 48 D apart and discovered that the bores are pitted and will have to be bored out.
Any suggestions as to type of pistons. I see Sharp has high compression Aluminum pistons. Can anyone give me a recommendation. Alum. or iron? Where is a good source?

Properly fit, Iron pistons will last nearly for ever..but, aluminum is far easier to get and will last longer than you will...!!
