I bought mine from an estate sale. So I dont know history. PTO cable was seized and broke. Something strange with other cable. They had the top off transmission when I bought it. Not sure all the problems. Engine runs. I am 18 hours from you. But I got kids in BC. About 4 or 5 hours away from... -

Front loader problem
I have a Bush Hog model 2425 QT front end loader with a joy stick control. The joy stick control will raise the loader, lower the loader, and curl the bucket as it should. The problem comes when you dump the bucket. The control will dump the bucket but it is very, very slow and sometimes...- tldnc

Still working on my rebuilt diesel 172. Kinda runs on a couple cylinders. Smoke like crazy. I finally got a good compression tester. I need to know exactly how to do a compression test. I took all injectors out and rocker shaft and push rods. My bracket to hold in the tester adapter wouldn t fit... -

Ok. Thanks guys. I got up enough nerve to take that shift box on the right hand side off for inspection. I had already determined the local wrecker had several to buy. Low and behold a roll pin had worked it s way out over the years on the lower lever. It seemed it could be binding. Replaced...- Carle

Thanks. Because of the cab that is on tractor I had never seen this lever by left heel. I can t move it. It is frozen. I expect it has never been moved. Unsure how hard I should try. Don t want to break something.- Carle

Hi guys, Just tuning up my 4020. Did compression check and it checked out just fine. New injectors got the engine purring nicely. It is hard to get it to shift into 7th. But lever bottoms in top of slot and it won t shift into 8th. New filters and checked suction screen. Screen was perfectly...- Carle
