    RC Case

I'm honestly not sure what the market for an RC on steel is... I know 2000 is a lot more than I paid for mine, a 38 on rubber with decent paint. But I  think know I got a heck of a deal on mine.

Picked up a new project, 1938? RC

Got it running this evening. After lots or spits sputters and pops, I was about to try pull starting it because my arm was about dead.. watched a few YouTube videos I saw a different technique that seemed to work a bit better and she fired up...

Picked up a new project, 1938? RC

It's here still, it supposedly ran when parked also. It not in as good of shape and is missing a few pieces that I noticed right away. I actually bought it just for the 2 point bail hitch assembly to put on my DC.

Picked up a new project, 1938? RC

Just got this thing hauled home. I commited to buy it a few weeks ago because I went there with enough money to buy an SC case, not knowing he had the RC in another building. Also had to allow some time for the owner to make a path out of the shed. It was inside a quonset building on cement...

eagle hitch plowing at Albert City

I'm trying to get my stuff together to be able to haul a few tractors down, I have an 830 but no plow for it so if anyone has a spare to use for for sale I'd be interested. Also still trying to get missing parts put together to have my 400 with mounted cultivator but that is going to be a long...

    starter switch

Most switches are either normally open or normally closed and then change state when the switch is operated. I would imagine it's a normally open switch that closes when it is operated. That being said, the wires likely just need to be tied together to bypass the switch. I don't ever recommend...

case 580g will only start with a whiff of ether

If they cylinders looked good when it was apart I wouldn't think low compression, the smoke but no fire makes me think timing, the 4bt skidloaders did that when the cold start advance system wasn't working. They either smoked a lot when trying to start until they warmed up, or they started fine...

Spin on fuel filters for an 830?

I personally haven't seen it done but if you used the filter housing off a 504 from a 70-90-94 series you would get dual spin on filters, one with water drain, and then be able to keep it case parts. Would take a little bit of plumbing but shouldn't be too difficult.

2870 Bellville washer for Torque limiter

That part is all dependant on the type of failure. I've seen and heard of others having issues with the bolts for the spring backing off and causing slippage. The former case mechanic at our store even went as far as re tightening the bolts through the starter hole to get the tractor moving...

    Case 400- mounted cultivator

Any chance you can check the axle brackets for dimensions/angles for copying them? Or if they are something you would sell? Just curious. I have some decent pictures from the manuals now but no way to get dimensions from the pictures.

2870 Bellville washer for Torque limiter

Actually I was able to get into the locator on my phone, doesn't always work on mobile. There is one dealer that shows two of the older part numbers on hand. I would assume they're new old stock. The other dealer is a salvage yard so those other 5 listed are used parts. None of the 3 part...

2870 Bellville washer for Torque limiter

Any 70-90-94 series that I've had apart, I replaced the disc, maybe the steel or sometimes flipped over and reinstalled the original spring. Most issues with the torque limiter have been the center hubs wearing out after the brass bushing around the input shaft failed. I haven't personally heard...

    Kevin's '57 Case 400 issues

If I remember correctly, those strips of metal on my 400 had something to do with the heat houser mounting.

    Case 400- mounted cultivator

Got the operators manual off ebay, found what I'm missing. It does exactly what I thought it did, I just wasn't sure exactly how it did it, couldn't picture it. There isn't really any better detailed photo unfortunately.

    Case 400- mounted cultivator

I have it figured out that the lift tubes cant go directly to the upper hitch arms so there has to be pivot brackets of some sort, and yeah that's why I'm trying to find a set to at least get measurements/angles so I could copy them and get the geometry at least close.
