    2290,to much pressure

    bought a 2290,parked under a tree,for maybe 15 years(carbon dated)drove on truck power shift worked,run it maybe 30 minutes,power washed, but when i went to turn it i bumped steering stop an blowed a steering hose,replced it,started again and pop,cracked side on pump,i'm thinking bypass on brake...

    How do you get to the cab blower on a Case 2290?

    the most common problem i see w/air flow is the foam from top side of cab drops restricting air,most often missed if top is only removed,i assume you dropped headliner.

    mx fuel problem

    dieseltech,you got it,rack was stuck an 4 plungers,got her going,hard to say how long they were setting the tree in axle was 5" thick,some kinda estate thing,they had 4 of these mx110's

    bought a casemx the other day,5.9 cummins,setting at least 6 years,can't seem to get the injection pump to pressure up at injectors,has the long bosch p7100 pump,have extra tank hanging, an fuel in and out,would the rack be stuck,the 90 series always stuck wide open,but would start,shut off...

    Case 2090 steering cylinder repair

    i use a pipe wrench as you said,that is basicly just a extension,snap ring and seals,get the lip seal right,its not rocket science,

    its small maybe 2"x3",has 2 small lines to it and a acorn nut w/adjusting screw on one end,should be pretty well in the open

    2290 plugged fuel tank with algea

    no access hole,take the fuel line loose at pump,remove filler cap and put air to the fuel line it will blow the sock off,i have ended up taking tank off and steam cleaning it,last resort,but not as agrivating as plugged line every 30 minutes

    Case 1370 injectors

    your 1370 will have pencil style injectors most pump shops can test but will tell you cheaper to get new ones,the 90 series had the bigger ones rebuildable,but sometimes the labor cost eats up the price of new ones,

    Case 2090 remote problems

    I have found the simpliest way to do this is take all 3 off as a unit, do not split,on the back you will find a screw driver slot bump it w/a hammer first then remove,o-ring will probably be gone,do all three an you should be ready to go

    ac on a 2290? thoughts

    the sanden conversion is a great idea,a foot easier to work on than the 70 series,one piece cab is a lot better also,noise level and ac works better,not much to tell you about the PS unless you press. ck. drive it if it works right buy it(no guts no glory)

    I could write the same story,did the same thing, (ihave had very little success w/cleaning compensater)put on different comp. and problem cured.

    1984 Case 2294

    I think they answered your oil question,to quote a feed dealer(only the rich can afford a cheap feed)I think that applies to oil,as to the white being rare probably not they built some of the 96 series in white also.
