    460 Slow RPM Acceleration

    Hello, I have a late 62' 460 gas that has slow acceleration when pulling the throttle back, slow to rev up. I am not sure how to adjust to fix. The 560 gas I have has way faster throttle response. Thank you for your help and suggestions. CB560D

    Hello, I disconnected the switch wire from the coil and ran a wire as you suggested. No spark. I isolated the switch and no spark. I think it might be the condenser although I could be wrong. Thank you.

    Hello, Ran down the items you listed. No spark from distributor. Point gap is good, spring is good, all looks good. I think it must be coil or condenser. Thanks

    Not offended at all. Sometimes it could be the most obvious things. Valve is open, checked it twice. I can?t get it to fire with ether with a small shot of ether. Thanks

    I hooked a jumper from the battery to the battery side (-) of the coil and no spark. I will look into replacing the points and condenser first. Thanks!
