    I understood what you were saying about HF test gauge and looks like they offer two different brands at HF. The JD gauge on the tractor reads between the L and M. Thanks for the advice

    901 injection pump issues

    Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but the fuel injectors return line that is under the valve cover can leak fuel into the crankcase. The solder joints can leak and fuel drains into the oil return holes or the push rod holes.

    I think you will need to pull the injectors there are bolts under them.
