    Aftermarket Headlights

Has anyone ever used these aftermarket headlights? They generate a lot of heat, and I am concerned about the wire going to them getting hot. I'm using a 12-gauge wire now, but dang, it feels pretty warm. Has anyone switched to an LED bulb?

    2910 Diesel Alternator Wiring Question

Okay, I figured out a few things today. I didn't need the yellow wire on the alternator. It goes from the voltage regulator to the ignition switch and to the alternator light. I have a 5600 with the same wiring on it, and I cut some tape and tracked down the wires. The problem I have now is that...

    Ford 2910 Hydraulic selector parts

Does anyone know where to find this kit other than in the UK? I need the knob and the rubber boot, and I can only find suppliers in Europe and the UK. It goes on the hydraulic selector valve. Mine is a little melted from the fire on the 2910 I am rebuilding.

    2910 Diesel Alternator Wiring Question

I think it's a Motorola, according to the eBay description. Here's a picture of the back of it after I attached the wires.

    2910 Diesel Alternator Wiring Question

I know this has been discussed many times on this and other forums, but I need it broken down Barney style. I am building my wiring harness and am almost finished except for a lingering question about the yellow wire coming from the alternator. Looking at the two attachments I downloaded from...

Woods 121 Twin Cadet Seal Question

That's what I thought and so would anyone else but why make it point to put on a part's diagram to make it confusing. It goes in there just like seal would on a gear box.

Woods 121 Twin Cadet Seal Question

I'm a bit confused about this, and I want to ensure I understand it correctly. The parts diagram indicates that the spring leg is positioned "UP". What does that mean? How does the seal go in the gearbox? I have never installed a seal in a gearbox where the spring faces outward, which is what I...

    Ford 2910 wiring harness questions

I am having trouble finding the correct wiring harness for a 1984 2910, or at least that's what someone in another thread said; that's what I have. I have the manual for the parts, and I think I am looking for this part number(I think), but I can't find the exact one after-market. Obviously, it...

    Model Number Help

Not sure why I didn't think to check there first, and maybe I need another cup of coffee this morning. This is not my first Ford tractor I have worked on, but the first one that the paint was completely burned off the sheet metal, where I couldn't identify the model number.

    Model Number Help

I picked this little gem up at the auction for a few hundred bucks. It is a 1989, but I'm unsure of the exact model. Any ideas? This is not my first Ford fire rebuild, and I am ready to get started, but I would like to know the model number first.

    Ford 5000 Fuel Leak

Can anyone tell me why this won't stop leaking where the fitting goes into the pump? I had the injector pump professionally rebuilt and when I put it on the tractor it started leaking around the fitting. I bought a new line but it still leaks. Any suggestions?

    Ford 5000 Starting Issues

Sorry, this is lengthy. I bought a Ford 5000 for $800.00 with a select-o-speed to rob the front-end bolster off of to put on my 5600. After robbing the front-end bolster, I found another one and put the tractor's front end back together. It had a turbo that I could not get parts for, and the...
