Fuel injection pump on 1978 ford 3600 3 cylinder diesel

Not sure if this allowed, but I got parts for my CAV pump from here. I believe this is the part that you need. Very helpful site once you figure out how to navigate it. https://injectionpumps.co.uk/product/cav-dpa-short-straight-banjo-outlet/

59 981 gold demonstrator paint code and other questions

I do have another question. On the SelectOsSpeed decal on the hood, should the model number say 901 or 981? I've seen replacement decals both ways. I'm just curious which way it would have left the factory.

    suggestions with egged out axel

Dan, are you sure that your whole axle and bolster are different? After rereading Tony Jacobs description, I would say you have the heavy duty pin set up. I also believe I understand why the engineers designed the pin/bushing set up that you have, the way the did. It’s designed to have the...

    861 front axle

I picked up an 861 the other day. Someone, in its previous life, torched off the ends of the axle and the inner portion of both knees. Anybody know why someone would do that? I’d like to replace all of the hacking with good original parts. I’m planning on adding a loader on this tractor and...

    Sos gurus, ??

Larry, after going through and adjusting all of the valves per the manual, I can maintain 4-4.5 lbs on the lube circuit. This is more than the 2 lbs that I had the other day. So I think I'll be good to go for a while, I hope.

    Shucks!

What do the rings look like? Is there a chance the ring gap was too tight and stuck a ring? Any time that happens, broken ring lands are the result.

    Sos gurus, ??

So I got the rear split done, the new pto seal in, the thicker thrust washer on the output shaft in and finally able to check pressures and adjust. Following the I&T manual for checking pressures, R2 should have pressure at all 3 servos. But I have none on servo 3, but if I go to 5-10...
