    I agree Bruce...I am just irritated that the most logical solution didn't work. I don't like going into something blind never having worked on the top pump. I have a tractor shop nearby and may take the easy way out..Thanks

    My lift goes up all the way but only down half way..Only way to get it to go all the way down is with the "position control lever" released. I cleaned out the case and changed the oil 6 mon. ago and it just recently started this..The control arm works the rocker lever ok it seems and the intake...

    This is my first hydraulic problem...My 8N does not sink even with alot of weight on the 3point(this is good)..But when I start the tractor the lift will go to the upper limit no matter where the control is positioned..It will go down only alittle ways when I push down on the handle..I took off...
