    Fast hitch prong size

What size prong was used on one point fast hitch implements - the larger one or the smaller one or one just for the 1 point hitch?

Dick Stoyell died several years ago unless he has a son named dick. I went to the auction when they sold everything.

Broken manifold bolt on a W30

Ok guys - after trying several ideas we ended up drilling out the broken bolt. My question now is manifold bolts on this tractor go all the way through the side of the head and into the water cavity so what should I put on the new bolt so it doesn't leak and can withstand the heat. The old ones...

    IH cub magneto

Probably need a little more info. Does the same thing happen if you check other plugs or is it just #1. How are you checking for firing. If you try again later does it do the same thing. Does the tractor run or not run. Did it suddenly happen or after you put in the new points, condenser, etc...

Broken manifold bolt on a W30

I took the head off my W30 today and broke one of the manifold bolts. I have enough sticking out to get a pipe wrench on it. Can I just heat it with a torch and get it to come out? Anything about heating an area of the head like that create new problems? I've been luck over my years of playing...

    Farmall A

An A tractor is how I learned to drive tractors back in the 60's as a kid. Our's had a working exhaust lift so we had cultivators that used that. I have an A now as part of my 12 tractors. Its still handy to move things around and any trailing implements that it can pull. My almost 2 year old...

    VALUE OF M TRACTORS RUNNNG

Around here a wide front end seems to go an extra $300-$500 more than a narrow front end.

    Used oil.

Our town uses used oil to heat the town barn. We have a garbage collection place and they stock a tote there we can just pour used oil into. Pretty handy.

    Farmall H 1945

They are supposed to run on 30 wt, non detergent oil. I put hydraulic oil in my 43 H one time and did a lot of plowing with a hydraulic lift plow. Oil eventually got hot and would lift the plow. If you aren't sharing newer hydraulic lift implements I would put the 30wt oil into it. Takes 6...

    Why did they do that?

You ask why did they do that. They never expected in 2026 you would be working a truck made in 1965. If that truck was around here in western NY it would have been a pile of rust by 1970 and no longer a need to work on the engine. At least you have a very simple engine to work on compared to...

    Farmall H Battery

Did your starter lock up? Try turning the engine with a crank or just turning the fan. If the starter is locked up you won't be able to move it. If it is locked up, just remove it from the tractor and put it back - it will release the starter drive.

    Farmall super A starting problem

Last time it ran, I drove around to see if anything sounded wrong in the tranny and to see how my new clutch worked and checked timing. Ran about 10 minutes. Concerning the tank, I haven't seen any leaks in it. I have to get lucky on something I guess. Not much rust in it.

    Farmall super A starting problem

It ran for maybe 5 seconds with a little additional squirt. Wouldn't fire at all when I tried that at the beginning of the problems.

    Farmall super A starting problem

Hate to leave anyone hanging - I put a shot down the air breather as I already had the carb back on but it started up. There is no fuel in it to mix with the starting fluid. Didn't try anything fancy with the starting fluid as I don't have any water in my leaky radiator. Looks like we have the...

    Farmall super A starting problem

Yesterday I posted I had the carb off my tractor and it was crapped up and gas looking like it had gone bad. I drained the tank this morning and the whole tank is crapped up so its going to need to be taken off and cleaned. I had cleaned the tank at the start of the project is it had something...
