    300 U 12Volt conversion pulley question

    Here is a picture of the mounting brackets that I make for installing a Hitachi alternator on the Farmall tractor. This is bracket is for the Farmall H. A bracket for the 300U would be very similar, I just could not find a good picture.

    You are going to find that the pulley of the old generator is not going to fit the Hitachi alternator. The shaft size of the generator is 17 mm and the Hitachi alternator shaft is 15 mm.

    Broken finger on clutch, My Cub has a broken finger where the pin goes through the lever. I have the new kit sitting there but it does not want to install it's self. One of these day I guess I'm going to have to get busy and do a clutch job.
