    Oliver OC3: how does/did this throttle lever work?

    Was rusted in there pretty good but I got the pin out. The old spring was toast. Also, straighten the shaft. Will let it sit in apple cider vinegar for a few days to clean out the rust and then I’ll dig around for a compression spring in my collection. This is what it looks like when dismantled.

    Oliver OC3: engine oil

    I purchased a case of 4 gallons direct Triax here in the USA. They had a special price of $99 for the 4 gallons with free UPS shipping from Texas. It appears to be a quality oil and I see no reason not to use a product specifically formulated for these machines. Just my opinion.

    Oliver OC3: sloppy steering levers

    The steering levers on my OC3 are badly worn at the pivot point. Appears the hole is now worn oversized on both from constant use. There may be a (9/16” ID) sleeve in there that can be replaced. Has anyone run into this and replaced the sleeves?
