    Well the good thing is the one I am looking at is gas anyways. No worries about injector pumps and lines ect.

    That was my plan , but I didn't want to buy it if the engine was frozen up. I'm gonna go back and look at it and see if I can get the motor to spend freely by hand, Or hook up the battery directly to the starter to get it to spin.

    Everybody. I need some help. My bucket cylinder the double acting cylinder is leaking really bad. I took the cylinder apart and saw that the packing is bad on the rod end. Does anybody know what replacement packing I can get for this? I've been looking around but I'm having trouble finding it...

    Steering is not what I am complaining about....can barely pick anything up and get any traction at all and move....yes steering is hard but I can deal with that...i cant deal with not being able to move with weight any weight at all......

    Need a little advice. Wnat would be a fair price for a 1955 70 Diesel? I know of one for sale for 3900. I think that is a little steep? Any thoughts?

    At the tractor show today I put the tractor on the dyno with the pto. She got up to 33 horsepower. Im still.figuring out this tractor. Only had ot for a year. I know the horsepower should be closer to 38. Any ideas to why it is low? If anyone has amy?ideas i could.mess.with it amd throw it back...

    I have a 1948 John Deere A smoking pretty bad, grey smoke I bought the tractor a couple years ago and it hadnt ran in a while. It is running great just smoking. Any ideas to help quit it smoking? Marvel mystery oil down the cylinder? And let it sit? Jut trying to avoid rebuilding the motor.
