    I Hate Ethanol!

    I use Sea Foam gas treatment in every engine I have. It is works great to clean dirty carbs and as a stabilizer. I usually have no less than 2-3 cans of it in my shop.

    plowing snow with the 8n

    My 8N pulling with only chains and the 7' blade angled does real well. I found that with the blade angled as much as possible and a little speed to get the snow rolling out of the side, instead of just pulling a big pile until the tractor stops moving forward, works best.     Pipe roll cage on 8N

    Here is a pic of my '48 8N with a FEL that resembles a roll cage. The tube frame is also the reservoir for the hyudraulic oil. Is this what you are referring to? Definitely earns the "jungle jim" name, easiest way to get on the tractor is from the back.

    Haven't had enough snow yet to put my '48 8N to work this year but here is one from last year, my first winter with the 8N. I had more cold seat time than I wanted but still enjoyed the "work". The loader worked much quicker than my green lawn tractor with a snow blower.

    Leaf raking 8N style

    I use a 4' pull behind Swisher lawn sweeper on about 4 acres. Bought it at Fleet Farm, about $280. On fairly flat ground it works great at picking up leaves and smaller branches, if set low enough it will pick up old grass clippings and mulched leaves. Easy way to keep the yard clean...
