    1.25 Six Spline Outside Yoke?!

Also, it's the IMPLEMENT yoke, not the PTO yoke. But yokes is yokes and it's still uncommon as heck. Which makes it super collectible, right?

    1.25 Six Spline Outside Yoke?!

Well, sort of. My current shaft is the small size rectangle telescope shaft. That joint series fits only the larger size rectangle shaft. Since its the only yoke I can find that fits 1-1/4 spline shaft then I guess I'm building a driveshaft from the implement forward. Sure hope the...

    1.25 Six Spline Outside Yoke?!

No error. Used calipers. I searched many times but with terms 1.25 Six Spline yoke, no hits. I typed exactly as recommended and danged if I didn't find one! Thanks a lot.

    1.25 Six Spline Outside Yoke?!

I bought an old post hole digger than needs some driveshaft work. The gearbox pinion shaft is 1.25 x six spline. The current yoke has worn out pin and block u-joint, and the ears appear to be slightly twisted. I have another drive shaft but the inside yoke is a cross and cup type u-joint...

D14: Draining Final Drive? Power Director Capacity?

Doing fluid changes on my new D14. Is there no drain plug for final drives? Also, refilled hydraulics, then power director fr9m a 5 gallon pail. Book says 10 qt each. Easy, right? Fill hydraulics to the full line, then pour the rest into the power director. Except the PD is way over the...

Any way to remove old decals and save the paint?

I'm understanding mayonnaise smeared on like you love it on a sunny day. Never tried it. Real mayo, not that white imposter salad dressing garbage.

    Which bolts should I use?

There are good stainless steel bolts. Your local store doesnt stock them (17-4PH). Only reason to use grade 5 is because you are an industrial company with bean counters looking to shave a nickel. There is zero reason or circumstance where a grade 5 has an advantage over a grade 8. Yes, a...

    D14 Rocker Tube Cracked?

Also, the rocker shaft stands were installed upside-down, which causes some issues. First, the rocker shaft would be about 0.050 too low. Second, the seating surface where it mates to the head is much smaller. Third, the oiling grooves are on the BOTTOM of the shaft rather than drizzling oil...

    D14 Rocker Tube Cracked?

Is this tube rolled with a seam up the side or is it cracked?

    D14 Leaky Exh Valve

Cleaning up the head in preparation for reassembly. Surprised how many head and manifold bolts enter the coolant cavity rather than a blind hole. Glad I bothered to pull the head or I'd not have noticed this and would have reassembled without any sealant.

    D14 Leaky Exh Valve

#3 cylinder was dead, low compression as detected by putting thumb over plug hole. Push rod was bent and partially unseated from rocker. Exhaust valve was no longer stuck but when I put air on it there was some hissing from the muffler. I pulled the head and all looks OK. Thinking to just...

D14 Front Lift with Rear Implements

Thats super! $113 solves that problem. First I have another problem to solve. #3 cylinder has no compression. Likely a stuck valve. Push rod is bent, too.

D14 Front Lift with Rear Implements

That would allow me to lock out the loader and use rear implement. Let's say I have a post hole digger on the back. Can I lock out the lift arms so I can use the bucket without the digger going up and down? I guessing no? And of course the lift wont work without the PTO spinning...

D14 Front Lift with Rear Implements

Guys, Finally picked up my D14 with front loader. Have a question about using rear implements with a loader installed. The loader and rear lift arms operate together. So how do I use a rear implement without raising and lowering the bucket? Just pop loose the remote hose? Conversely...

    Danuser PTO Driveshaft Stuck

Been hitting with a brass drift. May possibly have done some good, it's taking some PB Blaster rather than pooling up around it. Inner shaft could be stuck at both ends so big progress if I'm getting penetrating oil into one end, I think. There is no zirk fitting on this shaft, unfortunately.
