    I wasn't the second highest bidder. I think he's desprate to sell and just offered it to all the bidders. I'm not about to be scammed. I only pay cash upon pick up. The action ended at a little over $2000. I know I can get a nice tractor in decent shape to restore.

    Alternator Woes

    The alternator on my 5040 is dead. I have jumped it off so many times I have killed the cells in the battery. I have had people tell me that the alternator is the same as the old GM alternators. Does anyone know this for sure? Any help would be appreciated.

    King Kutter implements

    I have a King cutter finishing mower that I bought from TSC. It's a 6' model that i'm have been ussing for my second year. It's a really good mower that is made really well. The deck is 3/16. Thats 5 times thicker than the howse bushhog i'm fixin' to trade in.

    Mower question

    This will not work for my application. Mine either goes up or down. I have tried to play with it and find a sweet spot. I think I have it and I look behind me and it is either in the air or mowing the dirt. So the leveler controls are not an option for me.
