    Bolts! in my 706 hydro filter housing

    Today I went to change the fluid and filter on the IH 706 and I found these two bolts loose next to the filter. I saw nothing come out in the fluid from the trans. They measure 2" by 1/2" with 3/8" with out threads? Now where do they go?

    Hey Old, and to whom it may concern

    Is the wind blowing down south, its crazy here, coldest 32 degrees I have ever experienced. Its blown all the five gallon buckets off the tractor stacks...just to keep it farm related.

    Gas 1020 electric fuel shutoff bypass or replace

    We have a 1020 gas and it will not run right. It ran fine when we got it but now have to hit it will ether to get it to start. I am thinking the electric fuel shutoff might be the problem. However I went online and priced one from Deere, almost $300. Is there a way around this or a kit to...

    brakes m.f. 30 industrial

    the problem is that when moving the right rear brake locks up for no apparent reason. When this happens you can let it sit for a few minutes and it may be fine for a few days.I have no idea as to what type of brakes they are [disc or drun] any info as to how to attack it is appreciated Sam

    Antifreeze

    Help! I own a 49 MT that I previously used 50/50 pre-mixed antifreeze in. After 10 minutes of pushing snow the temp guage indicated it was overheating. This spring I switched to distilled water ... no problems. The owner"s manual recommends methanol which I would prefer to avoid. Does anyone...
