    JD530 baler balling/plugging issues

    Baled 1000s of bales with 530, great machines. weld quarter inch key stock on where others suggest awelded bead,put inch welds about every 8 inchs,this prevents roller fr om getting to hot.also put new teeth in pickup if needed,put her in gear and go like normal.

    belts could be slipping.if mower is running right rpms with new blades it should be cutting fine

    Reed Canary Grass

    My dad has canary grass in bottom with heavy gumbo,it has kind of purple top,doesn't get as course,makes two cuttings but not as water tolerant,makes excellant feed if put up right especially second cutting.It is a different variety I guess.
