Man, Back just before steel hit it highs a couple years ago I watched a beautiful 42 sell at a sale for around $700 or $800 bucks. It was really nice and it must have been cause even though I'm a Gleaner man I was considering buying it to at least save it from a scrapper. I don't think the scrapper got it but the scrapper did get an equally beautiful 40 self propelled for around $350 at the same sale. I watched him load it on a truck bound for the shredders in Wisconsin. It was a shame. Of course I was darn broke otherwise I would have rescued that one for sure. I'd never seen either model before.
