    Farmall M Carb Troubles

    Right there is the problem I think.....it is the new, rubber tipped type.....level of fuel running too high is my guess now for sure.... Will try some stuff tomorrow and let you guys know the results! Thanks again for all the help.... Chuck

    That makes a little more sense now Bob. Thanks for the reply. Must just need to pull the flywheel and see how bad it is i guess. The leak picked up this last summer to the point where I really should check it out.....big flywheel is just intimidating to pull off there! Chuck

    Howdy all, I have a 1955 "80" that is a great tractor, starts easily, no smoke, etc. However, I seem to have an oil leak at the flywheel end of the crankshaft. After inspecting the JD Parts manual, I guess I dont understand how those engines keep any oil at all from leaking at that spot...
