    IH parts manual question

Recently I purchased parts manuals for "H" and Super H tractors. I was dissapointed as they did not list certain parts by serial # breaks. For example, when the battery was moved under the seat of Super H tractors and the seat was changed. Did I get some crappy manuals or is that how the IH...

    Farmall M Carb Troubles

Thanks for all the replies so far. I have had this carb on a known, well running (Read ignition is fine) tractor as I have been trying to determine its issue. We are for sure dealing with a carb issue. The float pin looked new as I believe that IH replaced it when they were in there, but...

    JD 80 Crankshaft Oil Leak

That makes a little more sense now Bob. Thanks for the reply. Must just need to pull the flywheel and see how bad it is i guess. The leak picked up this last summer to the point where I really should check it out.....big flywheel is just intimidating to pull off there! Chuck

    JD 80 Crankshaft Oil Leak

Howdy all, I have a 1955 "80" that is a great tractor, starts easily, no smoke, etc. However, I seem to have an oil leak at the flywheel end of the crankshaft. After inspecting the JD Parts manual, I guess I dont understand how those engines keep any oil at all from leaking at that spot...
