My sons 4010 pulling

Here is a few pictures of my sons 4010 that he bought just a few months ago with a rod through the block. We welded the block up and freshened up the motor. We also put 20.8- 38 good year radial tires tires on it. He and his girl friend have been pulling it at the tractor pulls. He has won the last 2 times he pulled it in the 8500 farm stock class. He also pulled it the 7500 lb class but got second. Its a little heavy in the front for 7500. Some guys have said these good year radials are not so good but so far they have done well. It would be interesting to try a set of firestone radials and see if its even better.

Does it have a Turbo on it? If not, it would do better with one.

No these classes aren't allowed a turbo

Looks like its getting way more fuel than it can burn. I know the 4010 was a smoker but ?

More fuel means more power...Most non turbo pullers will smoke like that..

Nice looking tractor! What is the story about the added straps on the rear wheels?

Its hard to see but we welded pipes to the wheel to hold the wheel weights. These straps just support the ends of the pipes. You can put 4 wheel weights on each side and you can quickly take them off for the light class.
