    We got everything working on a tractor that had set five years, but it jumps out of fifth and sixth gear. Suggestions? Thanks for the help.

    1750 project (again)

    While cranking to get a fuel injection pump to prime, oil came out of the steering motor. The whole bottom is busted out of it. The question is where will we find a good steering motor? Thanks again.

    We finally got the injector pump off. My question now is this: What kind of wrench do I need for the back stud? It's impossible to get to, with a regular wrench. Thanks.

    Finally the mud dried up enough to go get the tractor; it was 30 miles away. You guys were spot-on about the problem: The injection pump was gummed up. The new problem is how to remove it when I can't find the timing mark in the sight window. Thanks for your help.

    1750 diesel

    This tractor has set for five years. We put fresh diesel in it. Primed it to the pump, but we can't seem to get the diesel past the pump. We cracked the lines and hand-primed and cranked, to no avail. How do we check the injector pump to see it it's working? Thanks in advance.
