As you can see the IH tractors equipped with gas start diesels such as the MD and this tractor used the same cubic inches in both the gas and diesel models. If you would click “Overview” on the linked Tractordata page you would see the “claimed” 52 PTO horsepower. I am not sure if they set their advertised HP by the gas or diesel model. Being identical cubic inch engines the diesel would produce less power than the gas model. Most diesel fueled tractors have a slightly larger displacement within a tractor model to allow both to produce identical horsepower ratings.
 
there was also an overbore sleeve kit with 4 5/8 pistons. those would be pretty much obsolete now. seams to me it brought it up to around 470 cid. it can be figured out with the math experts, i dont feel like doing that now. that was even a question on the final exam at the time to figure out cid of an engine.

4 5/8 inch bore would yield slightly under 370 cubes. I think you made a typo. and actually knew that
