    Any places I should focus on? Are there seals in there that can fail? Where is the pressure relief valve?

    My 640 had water in the fluid when I got her. Several changes later and the 3 pt is very slow and won't even lift my weight. Do I have a bad pump or could it be something else?

    I have a 850 that the hydraulic are acting up. In draft control it won't raise more than a few inches. In position control it will raise all the way but won't lower all the way. Any ideas

    County line implements?

    I don't think I'll buy anything PTO driven but I need a middle buster and a carry all. I need a garden bedder also but I don't think they make one of those.

    What is the general opinion on County Line implements from TSC? I have an 850 Ford but no implements. I won't be doing anymore than just yard and garden work and price is pretty high on my priority list.

    Mud in antifreeze?

    I had only bought the tractor a few weeks before that so I have no idea about the previouus maintenance schedule. It all came out with a pressure washer. Thank you for all the information.

    Mud in antifreeze?

    I tore down my Ford 850 engine to do a rebuild this week. When i removed the freeze plug behind the #4 cylinder it was packed with a mud like substance. Has anyone else seen this? Could it be mud or has the coolant gone bad somehow?

    Remove the dipstick in the hydraulic reservoir with the tractor running and blow some compressed air in.

    My first tractor is a '55 850. Ive only had it a few days and today i hooked a scrape blade to it and it wouldnt lower enough for the blade to touch the ground when it was in position control. I put it in draft control and it went lower but when i tried to raise it, it only came up a few inches...

    ford 850 3 pt

    I just got a ford 850. The 3 pt has draft and position control that is selected by a lever under the seat. When in position control it wont go low enough for a scrape blade to touch the ground. When in draft control it wont go high enough to pull a 14" plow out of the ground. What could be wrong?

    1955 850 fuel problems

    It has a metal line and when i drained the tank i could see a little of it in the bottom. Could it be a lead substitute that has settled out? And do i need lead substitute?
