    I had a leak in my manifold once, the engine was not running corect and when we were turning over the enignes, listing to every noise, we hurd a hissing from the muffler.     What you have lookes like a 1947-1949 8N tractor. If you remove the paint on the engine block next to the oil filter housing you will find the serial number. Also, the sheet meatel is from a 8N ford, so if it says 2N, like on mine, its probably just the casting numbers that never changed or...

    zenth carb housing can it be welded ?

    Cast iron cannot be welded with a wire welder easily, you would need to take it to a special shot to have it welded for you, and that might deform the shop, try going to a salvage yard and pick up a new carburetor or even just the peace that broke.
