    1955 Ford 650 Overheating

    If you didn't replace the lower radiator hose, see how soft it is, sometimes the spring inside rusts away, and the hose will collapse as the water pump circulates the coolant.

    It doesn't matter what you cut them off with, but if you don't apply tordon to the stump, you'll be cutting them off again next year.

    Most likely the rough running is due to pitted valves and seats, also sticking valves.

    If it has the mushroom lifters, the valve cover, rocker shaft and push rods have to come off, lifters will need to be held up, the dist, removed then the cam will come out. But if a lifter is dead, the cam lobe for that lifter most likely is bad too, and to replace that lifter, the pan has to...

    John Deere 60 upper radiator dumping water

    You can make a gasket, clean up both surfaces, glue a piece of gasket paper to the removed part, use a small ball peen hammer, and tap it out, use a little gasket maker to the top side, bolt it on and go.

    Are you letting the pick up all the way down, and the ground wheel on it can also be adjusted, so the pick up tines are just above contacting the ground.

    It could be the pilot bearing has frozen to the trans input shaft, if that's the case, it's time for a split to fix.

    Tdc on John Deere 2550

    Mabey the marks are on the front pully, turn the engine by hand in the right direction, watching the #1 rocker arms. When the intake arm closes, turn the engine a little more, clean the front pully, looking for timing marks, same with the flywheel.

    On my 14, I have to pull the lift leaver all the way down, and if the lift arms are all the way up, put some down pressure on them.
