I have a MF 1100 that won’t go in any gear. It just grinds when trying to put in gear. Drove fine a few days ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Will it go into gear when it is not running?? Is there any way you can start it in gear with the clutch pedal down and see if it tries to move when you do that. If you can be ready to shut it down if it starts and moves

Did you happen to give it a thorough wash job when you last used it? Could have gotten water/moisture in the clutch housing and rusted and stuck, unusual in a short period like that. But if it has been rainy and a high humidity it is possible.

Could be a little rust got on the splines and the clutch isn't sliding away from the flywheel or the clutch is sticking to the flywheel. Had a new '73 Chevy Vega with similar issues. If I put it in a higher gear it would release but grind in low and wouldn't go in. Only did it when cold and I had to leave it overnight at the dealer (so they could see it) before they would do the warranty work. It happens occasionally on my Ferguson TE-20. Once I get it to go in gear it seems to be ok releasing as it should.
