I remember someone telling me that early A's and late A's had different ones.

    60 MFWD steering

Looks like a lot of fun Tim. One of my Dad's friends built a "GR". He had parts for a G and a 70 standard laying around and between the two tractors there was enough parts to build it, turned out really cool.

    plow

Thank you for the link. I remember my grandpa had what he called a 855, one for his 50, and one for his 60. it was a mounted one I think.

Maybe that 666 would work on my JD 55 model 60, has a little more power. The A that I have used to pull a IH 3/14 in 3rd gear here in SW MN. I don't want to work it to hard, guess I better pass on the one and look for a 2 bottom. What model would be around the same year as my A? 1951

    plow

One is a manual trip, and the other is newer version, has mounts for hydraulic cylinder and grease zerks on it for the Bottom trip I would assume. Not very familiar with older JD plows. All we had was, Moline, Oliver, IH, and a 145 JD for the 3020.

Is this # 55? Looking for one to pull with my A. Two different ones. <image src="http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/photos/mvphoto22987.jpg"/> <image src="http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/photos/mvphoto22988.jpg"/>

    4000, How much hydraulic pressure

Maybe not a pressure problem, but a flow problem?
