    4230 or a 4040?

    These tractors have a history of hard cold starting. If I were you I would go cold start them both then look at everything else.

    30 series 404 pistons

    I owned a hard starting 4230 for years. Funny thing about the 30 series hard cold starting thing is you might talk to someone who says they have one that starts fine while others agree theres just won't start in any temperature without ether.Please let us know how the new style kit affects starting.
