    GM flywheel removal ??

    I have to remove the flywheel from a JD GM to replace the oil seal - does anyone have a specific method or tool to loosen the nuts? - I don't have a flywheel wrench - I can get a socket on the nut and try with a swivel and johnson bar, and the air impact, but can't get movement. Thanks Ken

    The 1968 was a miscalculation on the middle finger. It is a 1969 console. I have a #10 side mount sickle bar mower that i want to mount to it and not have to remove it all the time. It is around 600lbs. and i aint no spring chicken no more. I don't like to have all that weight just hanging on...
