    Big Bud 747

I spent a summer breaking sod in the late seventies with a big bud kt450. It was a summer job on a dryland farm in southeastern Mt. It was about half the size of the 747, but it was still pretty darn big. It was a comfortable machine as long as everything worked on it.. One thing I really...

    New 860 hydralic issues

Just upgraded to an 860. Wow!. It has a few issues though. When I start it up, it takes a few minutes before the 3 point raises. I did change the hydralic oil.. When it does raise, it kind of stutters as it goes up. It does however hold the back blade up for a long time . Lastly, the...

PROPANE TANK and regulator at the House

Typically, the inlet of the 1st stage regulator is a POL fitting, as well as the service valve on the tank. They have left hand thread, . This is not an absolute , but typically how it is done today. The outlet to the 1st stage regulator is pipe thread. Either way, if it was hooked up...

PROPANE TANK and regulator at the House

True, but not appropriate for this application. It would be indicative of a temp or sloppy install. IMHO.

PROPANE TANK and regulator at the House

After being in the lp business for nearly 40 years I would do this. Get a new 1st stage regulator. Your regulator is fubar!. The 1st stage regulator should be RED in color. It takes tank pressure down to approx 10 psi. The 2nd stage regulator at the house should be GREEN . It takes the 10...

    Propane Tank hookup

The copper pigtail that goes from tank to the regulator can be bought in longer lengths.. tThat will give you some slack for your line to the house . Yes the poly pipe has a riser with a steel coax for the poly pipe where it comes above ground. If you ever choose to replace it.

    Propane Tank hookup

I retired from the fuel and lp business last spring after 38 years. Copper is fine. Don't screw with it. If you do anything, replace ALL of it with the poly yellow pipe. It will last longer than nuclear waste. Have your lp supplier do the work. They do it every day .
