    Driveway alarm

    We have a Dakota alert. It is about 1/3 of a mile from the house and works great. Change the battery once a year. The only problem is it will go off when deer walk past.

    Glad to hear you are on the mend. I know what you mean about keeping everything up. I thought when I retired I would have time to do everything, but hasn't turned out that way. Like others have said. Bigger is better. Good luck to you.

    Lots of old 113 blocks were changed to 123 when they were overhauled.

    Mud daubers

    I keep a little 20 ga. Shotgun in the barn for just in case. Had a plastic bag over the barrel. Looked at it today and found mud daubers had built a nest in the barrel. That could have been a real problem if I hadn't found it first. If any of you keep a gun in the barn, maybe you should check it.

    The alternator I ordered from YT is a ABC535 but the diagram calls it a ABC 524
