    When i crank it up the smoke comes out until i turn it off. where is the thermostat located at on my ford.I looked in my manual but did not see anaything. thanks

    I have a 1950 -1952 ford 8n. when I crank it up and let it idle for about 5 minutes. I can see smoke coming out of the oil fill cap. I changed the oil today and i ran it for about 15 minutes and cut it off and drained the oil and smoke was coming out of the oil fill tube for about 15 minutes...

    Ford 8N

    I have a ford 8N, I was reading the owners manual so that I can service it. The manual stated that I needed to clean the oil breather cap. Can anyone tell me how this is done. Also can I clean the air filter with gas or do I have to buy a new one. Thanks Chris
