    There is no such thing as a 1957 44. In 57 they were 444"s and they did have a watercooled continental engine.

    You have an late 40's or early 50's tractor. It is not a 44 special and the three point is not original. you have $400 worth of tires on it.

    If you have prefectly level ground and NO point rows,the wheel rake will be fine.Unlevel ground and points,conventional rake the best.

    Yes,that's too much for that tractor.I don't care how much he has invested, it's only worth so much. Also,it is far from a complete "restoration". Anyone who would do that much to make a tractor look great and then paint the seat yellow is real tacky.
