Farmall Super A rear rim issue

@Matt9260 How did miller work out for you? Did they fit your super a. I’m in the same boat right now, looking for rims for 49 super a. Had 9x24 rims but would like to bump up to 10’s to fit 11.2 24 tires.

Farmall super A rear rim sizing

My super a has 11.2x12.4x24 rear tires and needs a new rim on left side. I found a super a I can cannibalize but it has 8" rims. My 11.2 tire says on it that it goes on 10" rims. Can I put the 8" rim on and still use my 11.2 tire? Would rather spend 75 on an older rim rather than 300 on a new...

    smoking tractor

Hi all, I appreciate all your feedback. Checked oil is all good, no coolant or water. I did do a compression test and 3 of them were 145-150 and one of them was 70 PSI. Am I right to say that it has to be just blowby judging by that test and i should just keep running the old girl until I have...

    smoking tractor

thanks for the response, that is very helpful. hard for me to tell what the difference would look like between smoke and cloud of vapor to be honest, tried attaching video but it wouldn't go through. (maybe this attached picture is helpful?) its gas and has antifreeze in it. ive been working...

    smoking tractor

Hi all, 1964 Ford 2000 tractor has smoke coming out of crank case breather. It starts as soon as I start it up and doesn't stop, tried running it for a few minutes to see if it would burn off but no luck. I have been using it for the past couple days no problem and today I noticed the smoke...

hi thanks for responding, i just attached a couple pictures to another reply but looks like mounting hole doesnt let the lip of the flange get all the in for some reason.

    1964 ford 2000 starter

im not sure which spacer plate your talking about. ill attach a couple more pictures here. looks like the lip of the mounting flange is hitting the cowbell shaped thing inside of the plate hole not allowing it to fully insert.

    1964 ford 2000 starter

Hi all, I'm trying to replace the starter on my 1964 ford 2000 4 cylinder 12 volt gas tractor. I'll leave a link and pictures. The new one i got seems to be fit incorrectly but the website says its the correct match. Hopefully someone has seen something like this and can give me some advice. It...

    ford 703 loader bucket cylinder

ok thanks, that makes sense. One rod is bent pretty badly and has a crack in the head, I'll probably take it to a local hydraulic shop and see if they can rebuild it first before trying to diy it to try to match the other. The other cylinder is just leaking which is definitely should be a pretty...

    ford 703 loader bucket cylinder

brilliant idea. So, you're saying something like this one and add on 9.25 to the end which will give equal stroke and length to the other cylinder. Will bore difference be a problem? This one is 2.5 and the one on there now is 2...

    ford 703 loader bucket cylinder

one of them is bent badly, the other is leaking. I can repair the leaking one but the problem is I can't find a cylinder that's the same to replace the bent one. I've never had to deal with hydraulics before but I'm guessing I probably don't want to use 2 different sizes even if theyre pretty...
