    Oliver OC 46

Having someone finish welding up my $75 log forks for the Oliver OC 46. Unfortunately my Chinese welder decided to burn up. This with the trailer should be a game changer with clearing land. Getting off the crawler to chain and unchain logs gets old real fast.

The little Oliver OC 46 has really started to earn its keep. I also pushed out these food plots that are now in clover. It also disked those plots, which really isn't the best piece of equipment for that. It worked though. Hoping to look at getting a tractor by spring or early summer. I...

The oliver oc 46 is handling everything I keep throwing at it within reason and its ability anyway. Ive been clearing out trees and opening areas in the forest. It works well in the woods with its compact size.

Taking some time today to really use the OC 46 to dig in the dirt.

I already have a spare. Seems like a carb rebuild kit wouldnt hurt either in the future.

Little oliver oc 46 is a beast for setting up the sawmill pad. I'll have to think of a way for it to skid logs though. Its not a long distance driver.

Time to eat crow. The problem was not the pump at all. I started testing everything as far as flows. The culprit was the inline filter you see in the photo. It was causing such a pressure issue it wasn't pumping correct because it is a low pressure pump. Then it wasn't filling the...

So, definitely a pump issue. I got 5 gallons of fuel, dumped it in. Started right up. It seems like the pump is not lifting the fuel as it should. So for now im going to dump fuel in it until I have a good moment to tear the pump apart. Too many projects. Right now its acting like a...

Sounds like a tear down. I was thinking it might be one of the valves. I did replace with the kit valves. I'll try to tear down the pump this week and I'll give an update

Did some tests on the fuel while I had it out and it did it again. Fuel tank was between 1/4 to 1/3. Same thing as last time, not getting fuel. I rebuilt the fuel pump cause it had a cracked rubber gasket. I blew out lines, flow when I put it back together. Put Sediment bowl back on...

I think im going to look into the fuel issue some more. Ill update then.

    Oliver OC 46

So, with the fuel system on oc46, its gravity fed until it gets to the fuel lifter (pump). If your tank is low in fuel, and it is at an angle to where the Sediment bowl is higher than the fuel level of the tank it will not fill the bowl and keep the pump primed. I filled an air tank, blew out...

Im starting to see a trend here. Ive been using the oc 46 pretty hard the last while, and over rough terrain. Seems like im getting more crud out of the tank into the Sediment bowl and lines. I have a plug on the elbow at where the line goes into Sediment bowl. I didn't have compressed air...
