do you care to tell? I’m curious how many hours you got in this project doing the oc 46 up right?
I know you put a lot of hard work into this project. You are funny sir. I didn't know I was supposed to keep track lol. If I were to do this project right and i had $$$, id do an overhaul on that engine. Id pull it, and send it off. I would have to say doing all the rollers was the most time consuming, tearing off each side of track and track frame, and cribbing the machine. Doing it with a floor jack and some oak blocks I had to mill with a chainsaw. Like all projects though we always under estimate the time needed. If I had a garage, id probably be able to get more done. Working outside has alot of down days.
I appreciate the compliment. Thank you. I hope someone from the future can glean something out of this thread to be honest.I know you put a lot of hard work into this project.
Did some tests on the fuel while I had it out and it did it again.Basic note. Your Carter style pump is probably rebuildable. First check no fuel in oil, then police for any air leaks or rotted hoses in suction. Pump should lift if suction is wet, regardless of tractor angles.
I already have a spare. Seems like a carb rebuild kit wouldnt hurt either in the future.Nice setup Crownests , keep up with the updates , help us see what’s happening with the project.
Looks like a filter I had on the 79 ford 351 Windsor auto lite 2 barrel carburetors now on that Ollie’s.
I had that filter, one plug up on van almost ruin a vacation. Suggest you buy two more filters.![]()
