    1066 torsion bar? Moves under load

    I have a 1973 IH 1066. When my shredder is attached and shredder wheels on the ground, when the tractor moves forward, the point at which the lower lift arms are attached to the tractor moves rearward. I was told that the torsion tube could be broken, but not certain? Any suggestions. Thanks

    I really don't know if it's slipping over the top, or the side? I like yourself am getting really tired of taking off the cover to temporarily fix it. Looking forward to fixing it for good. Thanks for your help!
