1066 torsion bar? Moves under load

I have a 1973 IH 1066. When my shredder is attached and shredder wheels on the ground, when the tractor moves forward, the point at which the lower lift arms are attached to the tractor moves rearward. I was told that the torsion tube could be broken, but not certain? Any suggestions. Thanks

Oliver 1650 hydraulic pump kit ?

Im posting this for a friend, so I don't have all of the information. I do know that it is a Cessna pump # J25455RAA. I also know that he has taken the pump apart, and that the seals/gaskets are worn, as it was leaking around the splined shaft. I would like to get him to give you a call. How...

    1066 lift arm fix?

I have a 1973 model 1066. When backing up with my scraper blade attached, and the blace hits a hump, the shaft that is connected to the lift arm control inside the tractor, jumps over the shaft that actually raises the hydraulics for the lift arms. The only solution is to remove the 6 bolts on...

1066 Fix for internal lift arm problem?

I've got a 1973 model 1066. On certain occasions, when backing up with my scraper blade on, if the blade hits the ground and rises over a hump, for instance, the internal lift arm shaft gets on top of the shaft that is attached to the lift arm control on the tractor. When this happens, I can't...
